I would be lonely too if I worked at Alta Vista. I have seen the staff there treated completely like crap by both tourists and management. Its hard to maintain a good outlook on life when you're surrounded by people that spend more on a single meal that you make in a month.

I think it's just a matter of how you take things--how you let happenings, attitudes, and experiences affect you. Treated completely like a crap? Hmmmm. As far as I know, the engineers there are doing well even if they have to spend months away from their loved ones. Almost all of the engineers there carry the dream to be like their bosses. However, their downlines--the foremen and carpenters, may not enjoy the same privileges as those of the engineers. Rules and workload may be harder for them--not to degrade them in any way, but to bring out the best in them.

As the one who wrote this post, I just cant see why there is such a comment about being lonely for this post. I wrote this post with happy thoughts in the back of my mind. I wrote non-sense things instead of my real message because I just cant say what it is. But I assure you it is a happy thought. Well anyways, with regards to your comments bout treatment of employees, I think that it would be real bad if "HOTEL" Employees be treated like that, it is a pity for them especially if the ones mistreating them are the tourists, but hey we are in constrution, if there are instances that seems as if we are mistreating our workers, I'll just say that everyone here has tough skin. This is construction business, this is the life that we have, it is in our blood to be like that. We are tough guys here, nobody cries.
